Guide to everything that you need to know about UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany. 

Italy enter the tournament as reigning champions but will face a difficult task to retain their crown with England, France and Spain considered hot favourites for the title, which is being played in one country unlike Euro 2020.

Georgia meanwhile will be making their major tournament debut for the first time following the breakup of Soviet Union in 1992.

 

When and Where is UEFA Euro 2024?

UEFA Euro 2024 will be held from Friday 14 June to Sunday 14 July across Germany at ten stadiums within the following cities;

How Many Teams Involved in Euro 2024?

24 teams will be participating in Euro 2024 split into six groups (labelled Group A – F) of four teams, for the opening phase of the tournament.

How will Euro 2024 Work? 

Euro 2024 will commence with a Group Stage phase where the 24 competing teams have been split into six groups of four, with all four teams in each group playing each other once from which the top two in each group will advance to the knockout stages.

The four third best-placed finishers will also advance to the knockout stage, which will compromise of Round of 16, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final.
