When is Kick-Off?

Everton meet Burnley at Goodison Park in a 3pm BST kick-off on Saturday 6 April, untelevised in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • Everton are unbeaten in three of their last five league meetings against Burnley (W2, D1, L2).
  • Burnley have won two of eight Premier League visits to Everton (W2, L6).
  • Amadou Onana has scored twice for Everton against Burnley in all competitions this season (W2).
  • James Garner has hit the woodwork on more occasions than any other Everton player this season (3).
  • Burnley are looking to score in five consecutive league matches for the first time since January-February 2024.

Prediction

Having rode their luck at Newcastle to snatch a draw with a late penalty amidst excellent goalkeeping from Jordan Pickford, Everton now need to kick on if are to start pulling away from the relegation fight but they can’t afford to keep conceding sloppy goals.

Burnley meanwhile have found form finally but they need to start stringing wins together if want to realistically stay up, so it is imperative that they cut out their defensive errors because they really should of beaten Wolves in midweek.

Sean Dyche’s Toffees though will have an electric home crowd behind them but having struggled at home in the league, the first goal will be key because if Everton net first then they should win otherwise Burnley will need to be at their best if score first to cling on for the win if not a draw.

Prediction: Everton 1-1 Burnley

Result: Everton 1-0 Burnley
