2023-24 Premier League: Week 29 – Fulham vs Tottenham

Fulham entertain London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur at Craven Cottage in the battle for European qualification.

Fulham will stay 12th regardless of their result but victory would put them within five points of a potential Europa Conference League qualification spot.

Tottenham meanwhile can climb into fourth position with a win.

Fulham have no fresh injury concerns following their defeat at Wolves last weekend as Raul Jimenez (hamstring) remains absent.

Tottenham will be without defender, Mickey van de Ven after he suffered a knee injury during their win at Aston Villa.

Richarlison (knee) could return but Fraser Forster (foot), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) and Manor Solomon (knee) remain ruled out.

When is Kick-Off?

Fulham host Tottenham at Craven Cottage on Saturday 16 March at 5:30pm GMT, live on Sky Sports in the UK.

Prediction

Having blown a decent chance to put themselves right in the mix for European qualification through an incredibly wasteful end product at Wolves, Fulham now need to just reset and find more composure because a result is needed here if want a late charge for a spot in Europe.

Tottenham meanwhile soaked up Villa’s first-half pressure then blew them away on a series of clinical second-half counter-attacks at Villa Park, but this is a game where they really should look to dominate given their form at Craven Cottage.

Fulham though have already held Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs at home this season – albeit in the Carabao Cup, but I can’t see them doing the same against a much stronger line-up than in that game although they certainly will pose a stern test.

Prediction: Fulham 1-2 Tottenham

Result: Fulham 3-0 Tottenham
