Wolves meet Fulham at Molineux in a huge clash in the race for Europa Conference League qualification.
Victory would see Wolves climb to eighth in the table, whilst Marco Silva’s Cottagers can leapfrog their hosts into 10th with a win.
Team News
Craig Dawson is a doubt for Wolves after he suffered a groin injury in training this week.
Joao Gomes (hamstring), Pedro Neto (knock) and Jose Sa (quad) are all expected to be available but Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-Chan (both hamstring) remain absent.
Fulham will welcome Joao Palhinha back from his two-match suspension which saw him miss wins over Manchester United and Brighton.
Raul Jimenez (hamstring) remains absent.
When is Kick-Off?
Wolves host Fulham at Molineux on Saturday 9 March at 3pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Wolves have lost one of their last seven league meetings against Fulham (W3, D3, L1).
- Fulham are winless in their last 17 visits to Wolves at Molineux in all competitions – excluding penalties (D5, L12).
- Wolves have kept clean sheets in each of their last four home matches against Fulham (W3, D1).
- Pablo Sarabia has scored in two of Wolves’ three league games at home in 2024 (W1, L2).
- Rodrigo Muniz has scored five goals in four of his last five appearances for Fulham.
Prediction
After a sloppy defeat at Newcastle where their end product simply abandoned them amidst some poor defensive stability, Wolves now need to just reset because they’re still in this fight for that final European qualification spot.
Fulham meanwhile have found some solid momentum lately and after clinically slaughtering Brighton despite having let the Seagulls dominate the game, they really should be confident that they can come and get a result if they play like they did last week to put themselves right in the battle for European qualification.
Molineux though has been Fulham’s Achilles heel so another clinical performance will be needed but I can see Wolves being back to their clinical selves after a week of refocusing, so a draw might well be a fair result for two teams who likely will finish firmly mid-table.
Prediction: Wolves 1-1 Fulham
Result: Wolves 2-1 Fulham
