TNT Sports have secured UK broadcast rights to the FA Cup on a four-year contract from 2025-26 season onwards.

TNT Sports will have live coverage from the First Round plus coverage of every game from Third Round onwards – excluding 3pm kick-offs on Saturdays.

The FA also confirmed that selected matches will be made free-to-air (FTA) on a terrestrial broadcaster, with the identity of the broadcaster confirmed in due course.

As part of the deal, TNT have secured rights to FA Community Shield plus semi-finals and final of FA Youth Cup.

FA CEO, Mark Bullingham described this broadcast deal for the sport’s “crown jewel” as “vital investment across every level of English football, supporting clubs, communities, facilities and the wider grassroots game.”

Bullingham went on to describe TNT Sports as “an outstanding broadcaster with an impressive record of showing some of the biggest and best sporting events around the world,” after they took over BT Sport in July 2023 following Warner Bros Discovery EMEA takeover in 2022.

Warnr Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland and WBD Sports Europe president, Andrew Georgiou added that the broadcaster is “proud” to secure the FA Cup broadcast rights, which means that the current joint FTA deal between BBC and ITV will end after next season.

Georgiou also spoke of the importance of FTA coverage as he continued: “We have a huge amount of respect for the place that this world-famous competition has in the hearts of football fans and that’s why continuing to ensure we maintain a level of free-to-air coverage is important for us and The FA.”
