Manchester United entertain Premier League title-chasing Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.
Victory could see Man Utd climb to sixth in the table, whilst Tottenham can go as high as third if Aston Villa lose elsewhere.
Team News
Christian Eriksen is set to return for Man Utd after he missed their FA Cup victory at Wigan due to illness.

Tottenham will be without Ben Davies after he suffered a hamstring injury during their FA Cup win at home to Burnley.
New signing, Radu Dragusin is eligible to make his debut after his work permit arrived in time, as will Timo Werner who could start up front.
Giovani Lo Celso (hamstring), Manor Solomon, Alejo Veliz (both knee), Ivan Perisic (ACL), Yves Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr, Son Heung-min (all international duty), Rodrigo Bentancur and James Maddison (both ankle) remain ruled out.
When is Kick-Off?
Man Utd host Tottenham at Old Trafford in a 4:30pm GMT kick-off on Sunday 14 January, live on Sky Sports in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Man Utd are unbeaten in five of their last six league meetings against Tottenham (W4, D1, L1).
- Tottenham have won two of their last five league visits to Man Utd (W2, L3).
- Both teams have scored in three of their last four meetings at Old Trafford, except for a 2-0 home win for Utd in October 2022.
- Coming into this matchweek, no Utd player has been caught offside on more occasions than Bruno Fernandes, who was found offside ten times in 19 league appearances.
- Brennan Johnson and Pedro Porro have hit the woodwork on more occasions than any other Tottenham player this season, with both players having hit the woodwork twice each.
Prediction
Despite cruising past Wigan in the FA Cup, Man Utd do still have work to do because their end product in open play wasn’t exctly impressive – particularly given how dominant they were throughout the game after surviving a hairy start thanks to Andre Onana.
Tottenham meanwhile weren’t exactly impressive themselves in their own win over Burnley which mainly came through a lucky strike from Pedro Porro, but they were without Sarr and Son to be fair so Werner should add some extra attacking quality up front.
Dragusin meanwhile should provide additional defensive quality especially with his aerial ability which could well pose an issue from set pieces for Utd, but I do expect this game to be pretty scrappy if both teams play like they did last week and a draw might be a fair result.
Prediction: Manchester United 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur
Result: Manchester United 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur
