Victor Torp could make his debut for Coventry following his move from Sarpsborg.

Leicester have no fresh injury concerns to report following their FA Cup victory away at Millwall.

Kasey McAteer (hamstring), Will Alves, Wilfried Ndidi (both muscle), Jamie Vardy (knee), Harry Souttar, Kelechi Iheanacho and Patson Daka (all international duty) remain absent.

When is Kick-Off?

Coventry host Leicester at CBS Arena in a 12:30pm GMT kick-off on Saturday 13 January, live on Sky Sports in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • Coventry have won one of their last 17 meetings against Leicester (W1, D7, L9).
  • Leicester have avoided defeat in seven of their last eight visits to Coventry (W2, D5, L1).
  • Enzo Maresca’s Foxes have kept two clean sheets in their last seven trips to Coventry.
  • Tatsuhiro Sakamoto has scored five goals in three of his last four appearances.
  • Leicester have scored first in each of their last five away matches (W3 D2).

Prediction

Unbeaten in 11 of their last 12 matches in all competitions and ruthlessly demolished Oxford United in the FA Cup last weekend, Coventry certainly come into this Midlands derby in fierce form with Tatsuhiro Sakamoto and Haji Wright in particular hitting their strides.

Leicester meanwhile are realistically in the driving seat for automatic promotion as champions because they seem tactically resolute against whatever challenges the opposition throw their way, but should be fresh here following heavy rotation for their scrappy FA Cup win at Millwall.

That freshness might well benefit them with players like Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Tom Cannon back in the line-up, but with both teams in strong form then this could well be a high-scoring cracker.

Prediction: Coventry 2-2 Leicester

Result: Coventry 3-1 Leicester
