Arsenal have relaunched their ‘No More Red’ kit for a third consecutive season to raise awareness of knife crime in London.

Arsenal’s senior men’s team will wear the all-white kit in their FA Cup Third Round tie against Liverpool at Emirates  Stadium on Sunday 7 January, in a 4:30pm GMT kick-off live on BBC One.

The club have also confirmed that their women’s team will also wear the relaunched kit for the first time, when the Gunners host Watford in their Women’s FA Cup tie against Watford on Sunday 14 January.

This move comes as the knife crime epidemic continues to be an ever-present issue within London’s young people, with Arsenal continuing to undertake work to try and ‘help keep young people safe from knife crime and youth violence.’

Arsenal have iterated that the kit will never be for sale but a community t-shirt will be made available in all Arsenal stores from 29 January, with a retail price of £30 of which the entire price will be donated in equal proportions to the following No More Red charity partners:

  • The Arsenal Foundation,
  • Abianda (Abi Billinghurst & Associates)
  • Octopus Community Network Limited
  • Box Up Crime
  • Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation
  • Don’t Stab Your Future
  • Ben Kinsella Trust
  • Steel Warriors
  • Copenhagen Youth Project
  • St Giles Trust.

Arsenal have also announced plans to invest in more community pitches throughout 2024 whilst continuing their Social Action projects and volunteer incentive scheme alongside No More red charity partners.

The club will also award No More Red shirts to community champions who make a difference in their local areas.

Freddie Hudson, Head of Arsenal in the Community described the initiative as “a unique opportunity to highlight almost four decades of our local community work that has helped to keep thousands of young people safe.

“Young people face multiple challenges as they grow up in today’s world and we don’t have all the answers, but we are confident that by acting together and shining a light on the support network available across our community, we can make a significant contribution to the lives of our participants.”

Adidas’ Vice-President of the Northern Europe Brand, Chris Walsh added: “Since we first launched No More Red in 2022, we have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm from supporters wanting to contribute to the initiative.

“Whilst the No More Red shirt will never be commercially available, the introduction of the No More Red community t-shirt will give supporters an opportunity to show their support, and a way of making a direct impact.”
