EFL have confirmed details of the 2023-24 Carabao Cup Semi-Final draw.

The semi-final draw for this season’s Carabao Cup will take place tonight (20 December) upon completion of Liverpool’s Quarter-Final tie against West Ham at Anfield, live on Sky Sports Football in the UK.

Either Liverpool or West Ham will be joined by Chelsea, Fulham and Middlesbrough in the draw after the latter trio all won their Quarter-Final ties last night (19 December).

Chelsea have been placed as ball number one in alphabetical order out of the three confirmed semi-finalists, after Mauricio Pochettino’s Blues fought back to beat last season’s finalists, Newcastle United on penalties at Stamford Bridge.

Their West London rivals, Fulham will be ball number two following their triumph over in-form Everton at Goodison Park 7-6 in sudden death in their penalty shootout, having tied at 4-4 after five spot-kicks apiece following a 1-1 draw in normal time.

As the sole EFL and North-East club left in the hat, Middlesbrough will be ball number three after goals from Jonny Howson, Morgan Rogers and Matt Crooks saw them cruise past Port Vale in a 3-0 away win at Vale Park.

Liverpool or West Ham will be ball number four once the winner of their tie is determined this evening and complete the semi-final line-up.

First legs of the two-legged semi-finals will be played across 9-10 January 2024, whilst the second legs will be played across 23-24 January.

This season’s Carabao Cup Final will take place on Sunday 25 February live on Sky Sports, with the kick-off time to be confirmed in due course.
