Fulham meet Nottingham Forest at Craven Cottage as both teams continue to battle to stay away from the relegation zone.
Victory could put Fulham up to 12th if Crystal Palace and Wolves both lose elsewhere, whilst Forest likewise can go go 12th with a win if results elsewhere go in their favour.
Team News
Bernd Leno is expected to start for Fulham despite having played on following a serious collision in their defeat at Liverpool.
Issa Diop (foot), Adama Traore (hamstring) and Rodrigo Muniz (knee) are still sidelined.
Forest could be without Danilo due to illness and the defender could face a late fitness test.
Willy Boly (muscle), Murillo (thigh) and Chris Wood (knee) are also doubtful but Taiwo Awoniyi (groin) remains absent.
When is Kick-Off?
Fulham host Forest at Craven Cottage in a 7:30pm GMT kick-off on Wednesday 6 December, live on Amazon Prime in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Fulham won each of their two previous Premier League meetings against Nottingham Forest (W2).
- Forest lost their only previous Premier League visit to Fulham by 2-0 result in February 2023.
- Fulham have lost two of their three previous home games against Forest, albeit in the Championship.
- Willian has registered more shots on target than any other Fulham player this season, with 10 shots converted onto target in 13 league appearances.
- Ibrahim Sangare has made more tackles than any other Forest player this season, having managed 29 tackles in nine appearances.
Prediction
Having battled back twice to level before taking the lead at Anfield in another energetic attacking performance, Fulham should be disappointed to concede two late goals in the manner that they did but this is a chance to quickly bounce back amidst likely rotation.
Forest meanwhile just lacked much end product in their loss to Everton despite decent buildup play and rumours about manager – Steve Cooper won’t help morale much, especially when they’re in a rut yet they did dig themselves out of a similar situation last season.
Now if Cooper can get his Reds firing again then the confidence and momentum will hopefully come but against an improving Fulham team, they will need to be defensively wary but clinical so this could well be a close contest.
Prediction: Fulham 2-1 Nottingham Forest
Result: Fulham 5-0 Nottingham Forest
