Hayden Carter (hamstring/suspension) is ruled out whilst Aynsley Pears (foot), Dom Hyam (ankle), Sam Barnes (knee), Ryan Hedges (hamstring) and Sam Gallagher (calf) remain sidelined.

Prediction

Despite scoring ten goals in their last seven matches, Norwich’s form has been poor with four points from those fixtures because their defence has simply been too leaky which somehow will take a huge turnaround here to keep a clean sheet despite their goalscoring ability.

Blackburn meanwhile haven’t exactly hit their own usual heights of last season but with three wins in their last four games, they can come here with confidence but can’t afford to be as sloppy as they were across the pitch last weekend in their league loss to Swansea.

Jon Dahl Tomasson’s Rovers however must put Wednesday’s Carabao Cup loss at Chelsea behind them because they were just outclassed, yet they will of taken valuable lessons and if they can get on the front foot then they should have the edge at what has been a tricky away trip for many years.

Prediction: Norwich 1-2 Blackburn

Result: Norwich 1-3 Blackburn
