BBC and ITV have announced their selections of group matches for 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

England’s opening Group D match against Haiti in Brisbane, Australia, will take place at 10:30am BST on Saturday 22 July, with ITV exclusively broadcasting that match live in the UK.

ITV will also broadcast the Lionesses’ final group match against China at 12pm on 1 August, whilst BBC will air the all-European Group D clash between England and Denmark at 9:30am on Friday 28 July.

Republic of Ireland’s opening two fixtures against Australia and Canada on 20 July (11am) and 26 July (1pm) will both be aired on ITV, leaving BBC with coverage of Ireland’s final group match against Nigeria on 31 July at 11am.

BBC will have coverage of the opening match of the tournament between New Zealand and Norway on 20 July at 8am UK Time, whilst other highlights on the UK’s flagship broadcaster includes a blockbuster rematch between 2019 finalists, USA and Netherlands on 27 July at 2am UK Time.

ITV will screen all three group matches involving Jamaica and Panama in Group F, which features France and Brazil.

Reigning champions, USA’s tricky final group match against Portugal which could prove crucial if they fail to win their opening two matches, will be broadcast live on ITV in the UK on 1 August alongside Netherlands’ clash against Vietnam in the final round of Group E games.

BBC will have first pick in the Round of 16 with the UK broadcaster having confirmed that England will be their immediate pick, should Sarina Wiegman’s Lionesses avoid a shock early exit.

ITV have first and second picks in the Quarter-Finals but have left both semi-finals for BBC to exclusively broadcast live, instead taking the Third-Place Play-Off whilst both broadcasters will air the Final.

Here are the UK TV picks for the Group Stage of 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in full, although picks for knockout stages will be picked once the line-up for each stage is confirmed nearer the time.
