When is Kick-Off?

Stat Attack
- Denmark are unbeaten in nine of 11 previous meetings against Northern Ireland in all competitions (W4, D5, L2), and are unbeaten in four of six previous Euro Qualifying meetings (W2, D2, L2).
- Norhern Ireland are winless in five previous visits to Denmark in all competitions (D2, L3), of which three of those trips were in UEFA Euro Qualifying (D1, L2).
- Denmark have kept three clean sheets in five meetings at home to Northern Ireland in all competitions.
- Rasmus Højlund has scored five goals in Denmark’s two matches this year.
- Northern Ireland are unbeaten in three of their last five away matches in all UEFA competitions (W2, D1, L2).
Prediction
With just two wins and clean sheets apiece in their last seven matches, Denmark certainly aren’t the fearsome team that they had been up until last Autumn with a leaky defence proving their Achilles heel amidst their proven attacking quality.
Northern Ireland meanwhile will be disappointed to not be sat in the top two after suffering a narrow home loss to Finland in March, but this trip is a free shot given their poor head-to-head record against Denmark especially if they can target the Danish’s vulnerable defence like Kazakhstan did.
Højlund though could be the player which Northern Ireland need to watch closely given his form for Denmark, otherwise this could be another disappointing trip to the Nordic country.
Prediction: Denmark 2-1 Northern Ireland
Result: Denmark 1-0 Northern Ireland
