West Ham look to secure Premier League survival against Manchester United at London Stadium.
Victory would see West Ham stay 15th in the table but can move seven points clear of the relegation zone, whilst Man Utd can go third with a win if Newcastle lose at home to Arsenal.
Team News

Nayef Aguerd (pictured), Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice could all return for West Ham after illness forced the trio to sit out the Hammers’ midweek defeat at Manchester City.
Kurt Zouma (ankle) and Gianluca Scamacca (knee) remain absent.
Man Utd have no fresh injury concerns to report after their midweek loss at Brighton.
Tom Heaton, Alejandro Garnacho (both ankle), Phil Jones, Donny van de Beek (both knee), Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane (both foot), Scott McTominay (knock) and Mason Greenwood (personal) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off
West Ham host Man Utd at the London Stadium in a 7pm BST kick-off on Sunday 7 May, live on BT Sport 1 in the UK.
Stat Attack
- West Ham have claimed just one point from their last six league meetings against Man Utd (D1, L5).
- Man Utd are unebaten in three of their last five visits to West Ham (W2, D1, L2).
- Marcus Rashford has scored in each of Man Utd’s last two league meetings against West Ham (W2).
- Michail Antonio has been caught offside on more occasions than any other West Ham player in the Premier League this season (12).
- Three of Man Utd’s six headed league goals this season were scored by Marcus Rashford, whilst Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro and Anthony Martial headed in one goal apiece.
Prediction
West Ham certainly had very little prospect of getting even a point at Man City in midweek but did well to contain City until the flood gates opened after half-time amidst a sickness bug, so I hope that they have mentally written that game off and can reset back on home turf.
David Moyes’ Hammers though had scored in their eight previous games prior to their midweek loss which is a decent base from which they can rebuild, although they will need to be tidier defensively than they were at Crystal Palace last weekend.
Man Utd meanwhile now have Liverpool breathing down their necks as well as the outside threat of Brighton – who are eight points behind the Red Devils with two games in hand, having physically outclassed Utd in a tense encounter on Thursday with a late penalty winner.
Erik Ten Haag’s Utd consequently have taken just four points from their last five domestic away games and having wasted chances at Brighton, now need to win their last two away games otherwise their top-four chances could boil down to their home form against some tricky opposition.
Utd though should be wary of the fact that West Ham will have had 24 hours extra rest and need victory to ease any relegation fears, so I do see a tough contest here which could well end in a draw.
Prediction: West Ham 1-1 Manchester United
Result: West Ham 1-0 Manchester United
