Relegation battling West Ham face a tricky test against Liverpool at London Stadium.
Victory could see West Ham climb to 12th if Crystal Palace lose on Tuesday evening, whilst Liverpool could go fifth with a win if Aston Villa lose on Tuesday evening.
Team News

West Ham have no fresh injury concerns to report after Sunday’s dominant win at Bournemouth, as Gianluca Scamacca (knee) remains absent.
Liverpool could be without Ibrahima Konate due to a knock but the defender could be handed a late fitness test.
Naby Keita, Roberto Firmino (both muscle), Calvin Ramsay (knee) and Stefan Bajcetic (adductor) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off?
West Ham host Liverpool at London Stadium in a 7:45pm BST kick-off on Wednesday 26 April, live on BT Sport 2 in the UK.
Stat Attack
- West Ham have won just one of their last seven meetings against Liverpool (W1, L6).
- Liverpool are unbeaten in five of their last six visits to West Ham (W4, D1, L1).
- In 146 meetings between West Ham and Liverpool across all competitions, neither team have won three consecutive games by the same result.
- West Ham have kept just two clean sheets in their last six home matches in all competitions (W3, D2, L1).
- Diogo Jota has produced four goals and one assist in his last two appearances for Liverpool (W2).
Prediction
With just one defeat in their last seven games in all competitions, West Ham finally seem to have brought their European consistency into their domestic fixtures with a disciplined yet clinically direct performance in their dominant win at Bournemouth.
This match though does feel like a huge task but having showed bravery and team spirit to draw against Arsenal and beat Gent from behind in their last two home games, David Moyes’ Hammers should hold no fear despite their poor form against Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds meanwhile have finally found their consistency again after a small blip but for all of their attacking quality against Forest last weekend, they do still have defensive issues which Forest exposed at pace by opening up spaces within the defence that were ruthlessly punished.
Now if West Ham can do the same and continue to build their resurgent confidence, I think they could spring a surprise but Liverpool might just be too strong if this doesn’t finish in a score draw.
Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Liverpool
Result: West Ham 1-2 Liverpool
