Manchester United welcome Everton to Old Trafford in a huge clash at opposite ends of the Premier League table.
Victory will see United go third before Newcastle play at 3pm BST on Saturday afternoon, whilst Everton can go as high as 12th with a win.
Team News

Luke Shaw is ruled out for Man Utd after suffering a hamstring injury during their 1-0 win against Brentford in midweek.
Christian Eriksen could return from an ankle injury after two-and-a-half months on the sidelines.
Casemiro (suspension), Tom Heaton, Alejandro Garnacho (both ankle), Donny van de Beek (knee) and Mason Greenwood (personal) remain absent.
Everton will be without Abdoulaye Doucoure after he was red carded in their 1-1 draw against Tottenham.
Ruben Vinagre (Achilles) could return but Dominic Calvert-Lewin (hamstring) and Andros Townsend (knee) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off?
Man Utd host Everton at Old Trafford in a 12:30pm BST kick-off on Saturday 8 April, live on BT Sport in UK.
Stat Attack
- Man Utd are unbeaten in six of their last seven league meetings against Everton (W2, D4, L1).
- Everton have claimed four points in their last six league visits to Old Trafford (D4, L2).
- Five of Utd’s last six league games at home against Everton have seen both teams score, except for a 4-0 win for Utd in September 2017.
- Marcus Rashford has been involved in 18 league goals for Man Utd this season, having scored 15 goals and provided three assists.
- Doucoure has scored in each of Everton’s last two away matches (D2), although he is suspended for this away trip.
Prediction
With their mini-rut now over after a crucially dominant win over Brentford courtesy of Rashford’s clinical winner, Utd now need to kick on because a fourth game without a win will put them under huge pressure especially with Tottenham and Brighton breathing down their necks.
I though would like to see them show more composure in their end product because like Brentford’s David Raya, Jordan Pickford will be another goalkeeper who will be difficult to beat but their attacking buildup otherwise looked more energetic than in recent matches.
Everton meanwhile will have to be much sharper in their end product than they were for much of their draw against Tottenham, because this won’t be an easy task especially without Doucoure but I do feel like Sean Dyche’s Toffees could go defensive and try to strike on the counter here.
Utd though have endured a hectic 2023 so far with little rest and could be vulnerable if physically tested to their limits in a high pace contest, of which Everton are capable of out wide with Dwight McNeil and Alex Iwobi but I do feel that the hosts will edge through now they’re winning again.
Prediction: Manchester United 2-0 Everton
Result: Manchester United 2-0 Everton
