Vincent Kompan’y Burnley look to cause a Quarter-Final cupset against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in 2022-23 FA Cup.
Victory would see Man City qualify for the semi-finals for a fifth consecutive season, whilst Burnley are looking to reach the semi-finals for the first time in 49 years.
Team News

Man City have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 7-0 win over RB Leipzig in midweek.
Manager, Pep Guardiola could opt to rotate his starting line-up, with Stefan Ortega potentially starting in goal whilst Kyle Walker, Rico Lewis and Cole Palmer come in to the outfield selection.
Burnley have no fresh injury concerns to report after their midweek win at Hull, with Arijanet Muric set to start in goal against his former team.

When is Kick-Off?
Man City host Burnley at Etihad Stadium in a 5:45pm GMT kick-off on Saturday 18 March, live on BBC One in UK.
Stat Attack
- Man City have lost just one of their five previous FA Cup meetings against Burnley (W4, L1).
- Burnley have failed to win any of their two previous FA Cup visits to Man City (L2).
- Pep Guardiola’s Citizens have scored nine goals and conceded one goal in two previous home ties against Burnley in the FA Cup.
- City have scored five goals in two FA Cup matches at home this season without conceding (W2).
- Burnley have won two of their last five FA Cup ties against Premier League opposition (W2, L3).
Prediction
Such is their depth and quality available, Man City enter this match as firm favourites but despite their midweek mauling of RB Leipzig, they simply can’t afford to drop momentum heading into the international break especially with Liverpool next up in a fortnight’s time.
Burnley however are no pushovers and with a comfortable lead at the top of the Championship, I do expect a seriously strong team to be fielded which could cause City some issues if they can maintain their usual marking discipline and deliver clinically up front.
This clash though does feel like it could be an acid test of where Kompany’s Clarets stand against his former team, especially ahead of their top-flight return this summer but City should just have too much although I do expect Burnley to nick a goal if lucky.
Prediction: Manchester City 3-1 Burnley
Result: Manchester City 6-0 Burnley
