West Ham will face AEK Larnaca in the Round of 16 in 2022-23 UEFA Europa Conference League.
West Ham advanced automatically to this stage as Group B winners – having won all six of their group matches and will now face Cyprus’ AEK Larnaca for a place in the Quarter-Finals.
David Moyes’ Hammers will visit Larnaca in the first leg before hosting the Guardians a week later at London Stadium, London, in the second leg.
This tie will also mark the first time that West Ham have faced a Cypriot team in any UEFA competition.
Sheriff Tiraspol recovered from a 1-0 deficit in their Knockout Play-Off to defeat Partizan Belgrade 3-1 on aggregate, which has earned them a first-ever Round of 16 appearance where they will face Nice.
Italy’ Lazio will face AZ Alkmaar with the Italian’s home leg played on Tuesday 7 March at 6:45pm CET due to a clash with Fiorentina, who will also be at home in the first leg in which they take on Turkey’s Sivvaspor.
Istanbul Basaksehir will face Belgium’s Gent with their home leg scheduled for Wednesday 15 March at 6:00pm CET, due to Sivasspor also being at home in the second leg against Fiorentina.
Anderlecht’s reward for beating Ludogorets Razgrad on penalties after a 2-2 aggregate draw in their Knockout Play-Off, will be a tie against Spain’s Villarreal who had topped Group C.
Elsewhere, Basel will face SLovenia’s Slovan Bratislava, with the latter team chasing their first Quarter-Final appearance in any UEFA competition since winning 1968-69 Cup Winners’ Cup.
Poland’s Lech Poznan chase a first-ever Quarter-Final appearance as they take on Djurgardens IF.
First leg of the ties will be played on Thursday 9 March, with return legs scheduled for a week later on 16 March.
