Southampton welcome Wolves to St Mary’s Stadium in a relegation six-pointer showdown.
Victory would lift Southampton off the foot of the table, whilst Wolves can go 14th with a win if Leicester lose elsewhere.
Team News

Kyle Walker-Peters could return for Southampton after he missed their defeat at Brentford with a hamstring injury.
Alex McCarthy (knee) and Stuart Armstrong (groin) are doubts but Valentino Livramento (muscle) and Juan Larios (adductor) remain absent.
Wolves will be without Hwang Hee-Chan after he suffered a hamstring injury during their win against Liverpool last weekend.
Mario Lemina (knock) and Pedro Neto (ankle) are doubts but Boubacar Traore (groin), Chiquinho and Sasa Kalajdzic (both knee) remain ruled out.
When is Kick-Off?
Southampton host Wolves at St Mary’s in a 3pm GMT kick-off on Saturday 11 February, albeit untelevised in UK.
Stat Attack
- Southampton have claimed just two points from their last seven league meetings against Wolves (D2, L5).
- Wolves have won three of their last four visits to St Mary’s Stadium (W3, L1).
- Wolves’ Raul Jimenez has scored three goals in his last two away appearances against Southampton.
- Southampton have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 10 league games (W1, D1, L8).
- Max Kilman has been booked in each of Wolves’ last three league games away from Molineux (W1, D1, L1).
Prediction
Following a positive second leg performance amidst defeat at Newcastle a week-and-a-half ago, Southampton just reverted to type at Brentford last weekend with a toothless attacking effort whilst their defence simply was shambolic especially in their man marking positions.
Wolves meanwhile clinically outclassed Liverpool with bright attacking intensity and movement which the Reds couldn’t live with, whilst their defence was just as excellent with brilliant saves from Jose Sa in particular so I do expect more of the same here.
All pressure though will be on Southampton who really need a result to reduce pressure on manager – Nathan Jones, which could suit Wolves if they can replicate last weekend’s performance and once again target a vulnerable defence from the first whistle.
Prediction: Southampton 0-2 Wolves
Result: Southampton 1-2 Wolves
