Huddersfield remain third-bottom after a pair of draws as they first fought back to hold QPR to a 1-1 result at home, before drawing 2-2 at ten-men Blackpool in a rearranged midweek clash in which the Tangerines’ Gary Madine was red carded in first-half injury time.

Elsewhere, Auston Trusty’s injury-time header saw Birmingham City snatch a 4-3 victory at Swansea in a thriller where the Blues had fought back twice to level, having initially taken a 14th minute lead through Scott Hogan’s penalty.
Bristol City extended their winning run in all competitions to eight matches with a 2-1 win at Preston, in which first-half goals from Mark Sykes and Sam Bell proved enough despite Ched Evans’ 61st minute rebound goal for the hosts.
Dennis Cirkin rescued Sunderland a 1-1 draw away at Millwall, after the Lions had initially led through Jake Cooper’s effort from a corner-kick.
Finally, Cyrus Christie struck a 62nd minute winner for Hull in a close contest at home to Cardiff.
