Arsenal and Manchester United have discovered their opposition in Group Stage of 2022-23 UEFA Europa League.

Arsenal have been placed in Group A where they will likely battle PSV Eindhoven to top the group, which would see all group winners receive a bye to the Round of 16 in knockout stage.

Bodo/Glimt and Zurich – who knocked out Scotland’s Heart of Midlothian in their play-off tie –  will complete the opening group.

Manchester United meanwhile will be reunited with Real Sociedad – of whom they’ve avoided defeat to in four previous European meetings – in Group E, with the pair joined by Sheriff Tiraspol and Cyprus’ Omonoia who complete their group.

Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma who won last season’s inaugural Europa Conference League title will compete in Group C alongside Ludogorets, Real Betis and Finland’s HJK who beat Denmark’s Silkeborg in their play-off tie.

Union St Gilloise who lost to Rangers in Third Qualifying Round of this season’s UEFA Champions League have been placed in Group D, alongside, Braga, Malmo and Union Berlin.

Last season’s losing Europa Conference League finalists, Feyenoord will compete in Group F where they face Lazio, Midtjylland and Sturm.
