Premier League Announce TV Picks Across August-September 2022

Sky Sports will broadcast 26 Premier League matches across August and September 2022, including Liverpool’s crunch away clashes against Manchester United and Chelsea.

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds will visit Erik ten Hag’s Man Utd at Old Trafford in a blockbuster Monday Night Football clash at 8pm BST UK Time on Monday 22 August live on Sky, as both teams look to seize an early initiative in the title race.

Sky will then broadcast Liverpool’s trip to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday 18 September at 4:30pm, which could be hotly anticipated if both teams start the season in similar form and are fighting for the title.

Other highlights on Sky Sports include Nottingham Forest’s first home match back in the Premier League, as Steve Cooper’s team take on West Ham at the City Ground on Sunday 14 August at 2pm.

Man Utd and Man City will take on Arsenal and Tottenham respectively on Sunday 4 September (4:30pm) and Saturday 10 September (5:30pm).

BT will meanwhile broadcast 17 matches in the opening two months with seven of their matches played at 12:30pm on Saturdays, including the Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool at Goodison Park on Saturday 3 September.

Other BT highlights on Saturdays include Man Utd’s trip to Southampton on Saturday 27 August then Fulham’s local derby against Chelsea at Craven Cottage two weeks later on 10 September.

BT will also broadcast the first midweek round of the season across 30 August – 1 September with all 10 matches set to be transmitted live, including the cross-London derby between West Ham and Tottenham at London Stadium.
