Norwich City have announced their pre-season schedule ahead of the 2022-23 season.
Having suffered relegation from the Premier League at the end of 2021-22 season, Norwich will begin preparations for their return to the Sky Bet Championship with a trip to Dereham Town on Friday 1 July at 7pm BST.
Dean Smith’s Canaries will then travel to the Bavaria region of Germany on Saturday 2 July for an eight-day training camp, with information for an open training session and pre-season friendly fixture to be finalised in due course.
Following their return to the UK, Norwich will visit King’s Lynn Town at The Walks on Tuesday 12 July in a 7:30pm BST kick-off.
Norwich then intend to play a pre-season friendly on either Friday 15 or Saturday 16 July against an yet unnamed opposition, before facing Cambridge United at Abbey Stadium on Tuesday 19 July, with kick-off confirmed for 7:30pm BST.
Smith’s Canaries will then conclude their pre-season with a trip up to Scotland, where they will face Celtic then Hibernian on 23 and 24 July, with a 23-hour gap between kick-offs at 3pm and 2pm respectively.
Norwich will then begin life back in the Championship across the weekend of 29 July – 1 August, with the fixture list set to be unveiled on 23 June containing a mid-season break for the 2022 FIFA World Cup between 14 November – 8 December.
The club have confirmed that ticketing and streaming details for all of their pre-season fixtures will be announced in due course.
