Prediction
Having often ridden their luck in the first half of their midweek draw against Manchester United amidst poor marking, Burnley will be relieved to come out of that game with a third straight draw but they need to realistically score first to give themselves a shot here. at victory.
Liverpool meanwhile dominated Leicester on Thursday but had to be patient in terms of executing their chances clinically, yet the return of Mane meanwhile gives Jurgen Klopp a headache because he needs to find a balance between continuing form and squad rotation.
This game though is realistically Liverpool’s to lose given their form in this fixture and if Burnley repeat their sloppy first-half defending from midweek, this should be one route traffic.
Prediction: Burnley 0-3 Liverpool
Result: Burnley 0-1 Liverpool
