Six Third Round Ties Selected For Live TV Broadcast in 2021-22 FA Cup

TV selections for the Third Round of 2021-22 FA Cup have been confirmed with six fixtures moved for live broadcast.

ITV will kick off live coverage of the Third Round with Swindon Town hosting Manchester City at County Ground from 8pm GMT UK Time on Friday 7 January 2022, as the reigning Premier League champions seek to avoid a shock cupset to the League Two club.

Millwall’s clash against Crystal Palace at The Den in a South London derby will air on ITV on Saturday 8 January with a 12:45pm GMT kick-off.

ITV will conclude their Third Round coverage with a Super Sunday double-header on 9 January as West Ham host Leeds United in an all Premier League tie at the London Stadium, with kick-off confirmed for 2:15pm GMT as David Moyes’ Hammers look to start a second cup run this season.

Nottingham Forest will then host Arsenal at the City Ground from 5:15pm GMT that afternoon, with the Fourth Round draw set to take place either pre-match or upon conclusion of the game in line with ITV’s record this season of holding the draw during their final televised match of each round.

BBC meanwhile will get their coverage of the Third Round underway on Saturday 8 January as Everton look to avoid a shock cupset away to Hull, with the Toffees’ trip to KCOM Stadium set to get underway from 5:30pm GMT that evening.

BBC will also televise Manchester United’s clash against Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Monday 10 January in a 7:55pm GMT kick-off, with the Red Devils bringing the Third Round to a close pending replays which will be held across 18-19 January.
