Leicester Kick Off Title Defence Against Watford Following Third Round Draw In 2021-22 FA Cup

Leicester City will kick-start their title defence at home to Watford following the Third Round draw for 2021-22 FA Cup.

Brendan Rogers’ Foxes won the competition for the first time after beating Chelsea in last season’s Final and will now open their title defence at home against Watford who are now managed by ex Leicester boss – Claudio Ranieri.

Chelsea will welcome Chesterfield to Stamford Bridge as Thomas Tuchel’s Blues look to go one step further than last season.

Reigning Premier League champions, Manchester City have been drawn away to League Two’s Swindon Town at The County Ground, after the Robins knocked out Walsall in the Second Round.

National League North’s Kidderminster Harriers look to continue their cup run after being drawn at home to Reading who are currently competing in the Sky Bet Championship.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will visit Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in a mouth-watering clash as Forest look to cause a cupset, having knocked the Gunners out in their last FA Cup meeting in January 2018 albeit at this very same stage.

Millwall will host Crystal Palace at The Den in a tasty South London derby with the Lions having experience in giant killings at home to Premier League opposition, having knocked out Bournemouth, Watford, Leicester and Everton in the last five seasons.

Liverpool and Manchester United will kick-start their FA Cup campaigns with home ties against Shrewsbury and Aston Villa respectively.

High-flying West Ham will host Premier League rivals, Leeds United in one of just all three top-flight ties at this stage.

The Third Round will be held across the weekend of Friday 7 – Monday 10 January 2022 with the winners rewarded with £82,000 for advancing to the Fourth Round.
