Jack Grealish is a doubt for Man City after suffering an unspecified injury whilst on international duty with England.

Phil Foden (knock) is a doubt but and Kevin De Bruyne is ruled out after testing positive for Coronavirus, whilst on duty for Belgium during the international break.

Ferran Torres (foot), Liam Delap (ankle) and Benjamin Mendy (personal) are still ruled out indefinitely.

Everton will be without Mason Holgate as the defender serves a three-match ban after his red card in the goalless draw against Tottenham just before the international break.

Yerry Mina (hamstring) and Andre Gomes (calf) are set to be in contention if declared match fit but Tom Davies (knee), Abdoulaye Doucoure (foot) and Dominic Calvert-Lewin (quad) remain ruled out.

Prediction

Man City come into this match off the back of a positive win in the Manchester derby against Man United in which they played on the front foot throughout, in particularly exposing Utd’s shaky flanks but could of been more clinical with chances given their dominance.

Everton meanwhile will be hard done by in their goalless draw against Tottenham because they looked dangerous throughout the game, yet a mixture of poor finishing and dodgy refereeing decisions went against them but a point is a positive result.

This game though feels like it is City’s to lose given their impressive home form against Everton but if Grealish and Foden are not available, their absences alongside De Bruyne will definitely be felt but the hosts should still pull a win together.

Prediction: Manchester City 2-0 Everton

Result: Manchester City 3-0 Everton
