2021-22 Sky Bet Championship: Week 15 – Friday

QPR welcome Nottingham Forest to Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium in Friday Night Football from Sky Bet Championship.

Victory would lift QPR up to fourth ahead of the weekend’s action whereas Forest look to climb to 13th in the table.

Having made six changes for Tuesday’s shock Carabao Cup exit to Sunderland on penalties, QPR amanager – Mark Warburton could recall Jimmy Dunne, Sam McCallum, Stefan Johansen, Dominic Ball, Albert Adomah and Charlie Austin to the starting eleven.

Lee Wallace (hamstring) and Sam Field (knee) both remain absent.

Forest have no fresh injury concerns to report ahead of this match.

Loic Mbe Soh and Jordi Osei-Tutu remain absent with respective thigh and hamstring injuries.

Prediction

Having fielded a strong team in Tuesday’s shock Carabao Cup exit to Sunderland on penalties despite making six changes, QPR definitely will be eager for an immediate reaction after having wasted numerous chances in that match.

Forest meanwhile will be keen to force a response themselves after last Sunday’s home thrashing at Fulham’s hands, in which they were simply clinically outplayed defensively despite trying to take the game to the Cottagers throughout the match.

On that note, this game promises to be interesting for both teams but Forest seem to be one of QPR’s hoodoo clubs overall in recent seasons, so the visitors can take morale from their recent form both overall and in this fixture but I have a feeling that the Hoops might find something here.

Prediction: QPR 1-1 Nottingham Forest

Result: QPR 1-1 Nottingham Forest
