Here is the best social media reaction to Manchester City’s fifth Premier League title, after Pep Guardiola’s Citizens were crowned champions yesterday (11 May).
Man City were confirmed as champions after Manchester United lost 2-1 at home to Leicester, which meant that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Red Devils could no longer catch City with three games left.
Club captain, Fernandinho immediately took to Twitter to describe this title as ‘very big’ and dedicated their success to every member of Man City and the fans.
Wow, we did it again. ππΎ This is very big and belongs to all of us CITYZENS. Iβm so proud to be part of this team. Letβs keep pushing! ππππ CHAMPIOOOOONEEEESSSS

Other Man City players like Kyle Walker, Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden soon tweeted of their joy at City’s title win.
