Wolves welcome Liverpool to Molineux in Monday Night Football from the Premier League.

Victory will send Wolves up to 11th whereas Liverpool can go sixth with a win.

Wolves have no fresh injury concerns to report as Fernando Marcal (adductor) and Raul Jimenez (head) remain absent.

Liverpool could welcome Roberto Firmino back from a knee injury, which has kept the Brazilian out of the Reds’ last two matches.

Caoimhin Kelleher (abdominal) could also be named in the squad but Jordan Henderson (adductor), Joel Matip (ankle), Joe Gomez and Virgil Van Dijk (both knee) remain ruled out.

Prediction

Wolves will be hoping of a stronger performance than they produced last weekend at Aston Villa because they were great defensively, yet often wasted opportunities – particularly from close range despite creating excellent attacks from the counter attack and set pieces.

Liverpool meanwhile will be relieved to be on the road because they seem to still find motivation away from Anfield, where they have lost five of their last seven league games but their defence will need to improve on last Sunday’s domestic defeat if are to win here.

I therefore think we are in for a good game here because Wolves know Liverpool are low on confidence, so could afford to sit back soaking up the pressure and launch counter attacks but I think Jurgen Klopp’s Reds will have enough spark to take a draw.

Prediction: Wolves 1-1 Liverpool
