2020-21 Premier League: Week 26 – Fulham vs Tottenham

Fulham face their second London derby in four days as they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Craven Cottage.

Victory will lift Fulham out of the relegation zone at Newcastle United’s expense, whereas Tottenham will stay eighth with a win but move closer towards the top four race depending on results elsewhere.

Marek Rodak is a doubt for Fulham after a finger injury kept him out of Sunday’s goalless draw at Crystal Palace.

Tom Cairney (knee) remains absent for the Cottagers.

Tottenham have no fresh injury concerns to report after thrashing Burnley on Sunday as Giovani Lo Celso remains absent with a thigh injury.

Prediction

Fulham made a slow start to Sunday’s goalless draw at Crystal Palace on Sunday but once they hit their strides, they did get on top of the Eagles rather comfortably but just lacked the sharpness needed to find that breakthrough goal.

Tottenham meanwhile just looked confident from the get-go against Burnley with Bale combining well with Kane and Son Heung-min up front, which is what myself and many football fans wanted to see much earlier but perhaps it has come at the right time with two-and-a-half months of the season left.

Now focusing on this game, Scott Parker’s Fulham simply need to continue their organised defending but take their chances up front if are to improve their home form, because I can see Spurs coming here and dominating off the back of a strong performance en route to victory given their form here.

Prediction: Fulham 0-2 Tottenham

Result: Fulham 0-1 Tottenham
