England’s Football Association has announced details for the Quarter Finals draw of 2020-21 FA Cup.
The draw will be held on Thursday 11 February 2021 during build-up to Barnsley’s Fifth Round clash against Chelsea on BBC One, coming live from BT Sport studios hosted by Reshmin Choudhury with Karen Carney drawing the balls.
BT Sport however are broadcasting Wolves’ all Premier League tie against Southampton from 5:30pm GMT, meaning that if the match at Molineux goes to extra time and potentially penalties too then the Quarter Final draw will be delayed.
It is thought that should there be a delay owing to Wolves’ tie against Southampton overrunning if not finished within the regulatory 90 minutes, the draw could be held during half time of Barnsley’s match against Chelsea and take place at circa 8:50pm but details are unclear at present as to whether that is the case or if it will just clash with action at Oakwell.
Clubs who feature in the draw will include Everton as ball number six after a dramatic 5-4 victory over Tottenham on Wednesday 10 February, alongside Manchester City who avoided a potential cupset at Swansea to record their 15th straight victory and will be ball number seven.
Manchester United also feature as ball number two after needing extra time to beat West Ham, whilst Bournemouth, Sheffield United, Leicester plus the winner of Wolves’ game against Southampton and both Barnsley and Chelsea will also feature in the draw.
Here are the ball numbers for tonight’s Quarter Finals draw in full:
- Bournemouth
- Manchester United
- Sheffield United
- Wolves/Southampton
- Barnsley/Chelsea
- Everton
- Manchester City
- Leicester City
Quarter Final ties are scheduled to be played across the weekend of 20-21 March, although Leicester and Manchester United could play their ties on the latter date, owing to Europa League commitments the preceding midweek if at least one if not both advance to the Last 16 stage.
