2020-21 Sky Bet Championship: Reading vs Brentford

Reading welcome Brentford to the Madejski Stadium in Wednesday’s rearranged Sky Bet Championship clash.

Fourth-placed Reading can move to within four points of championship leaders – Norwich, whereas Brentford will leapfrog the Canaries into top spot with at least a point.

Prediction

Reading have definitely rediscovered their best form in the last month, especially with three goals in each of their last two home games but will definitely need to be at their best here against a tough Brentford team.

Thomas Frank’s Bees however seem to be on a high-flying rollercoaster with no defeats in the league since late October, whilst they continue to look deadly up front with 14 goals in their last three games within a seven day window which just has hallmarks of a team ready for promotion.

Goals therefore are surely guaranteed in this match but this should be a tight encounter, especially given Reading’s improved form so am going for a score draw.

Prediction: Reading 1-1 Brentford

Result: Reading 1-3 Brentford
