
The FA have announced that all 32 rounds from 2020-21 FA Cup will be broadcast exclusively live across BBC, BT and FA Player, with eight matches selected for TV coverage.
Liverpool will kick off the live TV picks with their trip to Aston Villa on Friday 8 January 2021 live on BT Sport 1 in a 7:45pm (GMT) kick-off, before National League North’s Chorley will host Wayne Rooney’s Derby County in a lunchtime kick-off on Saturday 9 January 2021 at 12:15pm (GMT) on the same channel.
BBC One will then broadcast their first of three ties live from the Emirates Stadium at 5:30pm (GMT) as FA Cup holders, Arsenal face a tough test against Newcastle United who reached the Quarter Finals last season where they lost to Manchester City who were then knocked out by the Gunners in the semi-finals.
BT will then conclude a packed Saturday with Manchester United’s home clash against Watford at Old Trafford in a 8pm (GMT) start, as the Hornets who were relegated to the Championship at end of last season look to cause a cupset.
Leeds United’s trip to Crawley Town of League Two will be aired on BBC One on 10 January in a 1:30pm (GMT) kick-off, before Marine face Tottenham Hotspur at Rossett Park from 5pm also live on BBC One.
Newport County look to claim another FA Cup giant killing as they welcome Brighton to Rodney Parade in Sunday Night Football, with the match commencing at 7:45pm (GMT). live on BT Sport 1.
BT Sport 1 will bring the Third Round to an conclusion on 11 January as Stockport County welcome West Ham United to Edgeley Park in Monday Night Football, with the match scheduled for a 7:45pm (GMT) kick-off.
BBC, BT and FA will confirm full selection details of streaming picks for all untelevised matches in due course, although all 32 matches will be settled on the dates when played with extra-time and penalties if needed, due to replays being scrapped for this season as a result of a tighter schedule than usual owning to the ongoing impact of Coronavirus.
