Southampton welcome Brighton to St Mary’s Stadium in a tasty clash as the Seagulls look to take a huge step towards survival.
A win for Southampton could lift them into eleventh depending on how Everton fare earlier in evening, whilst Brighton could secure safety with victory.

Sofiane Boufal (thigh), Moussa Djenepo (calf) and Yan Valery (muscle) are still ruled out.
Brighton have no fresh injury concerns as Steven Alzate (groin) and Jose Izquierdo remain sidelined.

Prediction
Southampton were superb on Monday and showed desire to bounce back from losing their lead to clinch a draw at Manchester United, but they have to show that desire again here if want to build some solid momentum to take into next season.
Brighton however were lacklustre against Manchester City once they conceded the first goal, despite brief glimpses of attack but they have to step it up here because if the Saints play like they did at Utd then this could be a long night for the Seagulls if don’t improve.
This game could therefore go either way with the result boiling down to who wants this more, which I feel is Southampton given how they’re currently playing unlike Brighton.
