Hull City welcome Middlesbrough to the KCOM Stadium in a blockbuster Sky Bet Championship clash, as both teams look to boost their survival hopes.
Huddersfield’ midweek win over Birmingham means that Hull slip into the relegation zone although the Tigers can move straight back at Stoke’s expense with victory and up above Boro into 19th position.
Boro however can move five points clear of the drop with a vital win and climb to 18th position.

Hull have no fresh injury concerns after Saturday’s 3-3 draw at Birmingham City.
Boro expect to welcome Hayden Coulson back from injury that forced him to skip Saturday’s away win at Stoke, but otherwise Neil Warnock has no fresh injury concerns.
- Hull are winless in their last five meetings against Middlesbrough (D2, L3).
- Middlesbrough have won just one of their last six trips to Hull (W1, D1, L4).
- Hull have scored in four of their last five clashes against Boro, with exception of a 1-0 defeat away on Teesside in April 2019.
After positive results for their relegation rivals elsewhere, this clash now is a relegation six pointer because if Hull can maintain their momentum from Saturday with a clinical yet tighter performance, Boro could well be dangling above the drop come full-time.
Boro however looked much tighter and more disciplined than usual in their win at Stoke, despite a late fightback from the Potters to ensure a clean sheet which is a positive step forward after their defensive issues this season.
I however can see goals coming here because neither team are likely to keep a clean sheet, especially given Hull’s attacking style although Boro are the lowest scoring team this season which points towards a draw if both can continue to improve.
Prediction: Hull City 1-1 Middlesbrough
Result: Hull City 2-1 Middlesbrough
