Sheffield Wednesday welcome Bristol City to Hillsborough as both teams look to spend Christmas sat in a Play-Off spot.
Victory will send the Owls up to third and eight points off second-placed Leeds, whilst Bristol City will go fifth with a win and leapfrog their hosts.
Team news

Keiren Westwood is also available for selection after recovering from a shoulder injury, which kept him sidelined for the Owls’ last six games.
Sam Hutchinson misses out as he serves the last of a two man suspension, whilst Fernando Forestieri will have a knee injury assessed.
Bristol City could have Taylor Moore available after the defender missed their last two games with a knee injury.
Tomas Kalas is also expected to feature after recovering from tendonitis.
Jay Dasilva is back training following a lengthy shin injury but won’t be risked until the New Year.
Form
Wednesday are unbeaten in their last five games (W3, D2) and are unbeaten in their last six at home (W3, D3), although they have kept just two home clean sheets in that time.
Bristol City have won just two of their last five matches (W2, L3) but have taken seven points from their last five away trips (W2, D1, L2).
Stat Attack
- Sheffield Wednesday are unbeaten in four of their last five meetings with Bristol City (W2, D2, L1).
- Bristol City haven’t scored in their last two trips to Hillsborough since losing 3-2 in September 2016.
- Since August 2018, Andreas Weimann has been involved in 25 of Bristol City’s 93 league goals, scoring on 17 occasions and producing eight assists.
Prediction
With a hectic run of four games in 10 days commencing on Boxing Day, this is a crucial game for both teams if they’re are to head into that period with winning momentum.
I am therefore expecting both teams to go for it here but Wednesday has the momentum at present, and I can’t see them slipping up against a Robins side who have been inconsistent on the road lately.
A draw however would be a good result because I can see Lee Johnson’s men doing enough to snatch a point here.
Prediction: Sheffield Wednesday 1-1 Bristol City
Result: Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 Bristol City
