After suffering a crushing defeat in Russia to destroy their faint qualification hopes, Scotland meet bottom-placed San Marino in Group I at Hampden Park.
Scots are currently second-bottom but a win will lift them above Kazakhstan whilst San Marino will remain rooted to last place no matter whether they get a point here or not.
Team news

Scotland have a unchanged squad available from Thursday’s 4-0 defeat in Russia but Steve Clarke could rotate his squad.
San Marino also have a full squad available for selection as Franco Varrella prepares to make changes, following an embarrassing 9-0 loss in Belgium on Thursday.
Stat Attack
- Scotland have won all seven previous meetings against San Marino without conceding.
- Across those seven meetings, they have scored 21 goals which averages out at three goals per match.
- In three previous meetings at Hampden Park, Scotland have scored at least four goals in each outing against San Marino.
- Scotland have scored just five goals in seven Euro 2020 qualifiers, which is their worst run in any Euro qualification tournament this century.
- San Marino are currently on a 15 match scoreless run in all competitions dating back to September 2017 when they last scored away to Azerbaijan, which their worst run since going 29 matches without scoring between October 2008 and September 2013.
Prediction
After an atrocious showing on Thursday, Scotland need to step up and produce a considerably improved performance against an equally awful San Marino.
I therefore am not holding out much hope of a decent game but Steve Clarke will definitely make the correct changes to team and tactics, which should be enough for a win.
Prediction: Scotland 2-0 San Marino
Result: Scotland 6-0 San Marino
