Europe is however gripped in a heatwave once more but this time with Malaysian like thunderstorms brewing, meaning that Hockenheim could be set to throw up another classic no matter the weather.

Three Key Pointers
- Expect cooling to be a key factor throughout the weekend and particularly for Mercedes, who struggled in similar temperatures in Austria.
- Racing Point are bringing huge aerodynamic updates to this race which could be crucial to shaping the remainder of their season.
- Rain is forecast for the weekend but with four sets of the mediums available, Red Bull could opt for a two stop race strategy if start on the softs and get a late safety car.
