Manchester City lead Liverpool by a single point with one round left after a dramatic penultimate weekend of this Premier League season set up a tense final day for several clubs.
Liverpool initially reclaimed top spot after a seesaw Saturday night thriller at Newcastle saw the Reds run out 3-2 winners.
Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah twice put Liverpool ahead despite Newcastle coming from behind on both occasions through Christian Atsu then Salomon Rondon, before sub, Divock Origi headed in a late winner to send the Reds top for 48 hours.
Manchester City then snatched back control of the title race on Monday night with a Vincent Kompany screamer, which was enough to end Leicester’s top seven hopes and hand Wolves seventh after they saw off Fulham through Leandro Dendoncker’s 75th minute strike.

Arsenal remain in with a shout of fourth after drawing one all with Brighton at home, although it would require a big result at Burnley and for Everton to beat Spurs on the final day.
Manchester United meanwhile will definitely play in the Europa League next season after being held to a 1-1 draw at Huddersfield.
Down at the bottom, Cardiff were relegated after a 3-2 home defeat to Crystal Palace as they failed once again to survive beyond one season in the top flight.
Elsewhere, Everton inflicted a 2-0 defeat on Burnley after Ben Mee deflected Richarlison’s shot into his own net before Seamus Coleman headed in the Toffees’ second.
Finally, West Ham saw off Southampton through a Marko Arnautovic brace and Ryan Fredericks completed a three goal victory when he fired in his first-ever Premier League goal.
