Title chasing Liverpool welcome Huddersfield to Anfield in a crucial clash for the Reds’ title hopes as this weekend’s Premier League action kicks off with Friday Night Football.
Victory will send Liverpool back top ahead of this weekend’s games whilst Huddersfield’s rock bottom finish will be confirmed unless they take all three points.

Liverpool extended their unbeaten league run to 14 matches after defeating Cardiff last weekend and have suffered just one home defeat all season across all competitions.
Huddersfield are winless in their last seven since beating Wolves at end of February, scoring just three goals in their last four away games of which all three came at West Ham last month in a 4-3 loss.

Prediction
I can’t see past a Liverpool win here because Huddersfield are still poor defensively despite recent improvement on the attacking front.
Jurgen Klopp however is bound to have one eye on Wednesday’s Champions League trip to Barcelona, so wouldn’t be surprised if the plan is to try and get two goals in first half then sit back for rest of match.
