After Manchester United’s home loss to PSG, Tottenham Hotspur will be keen to avoid a similar fate against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley in their knockout tie.

Tottenham Hotspur have one fresh injury concern ahead of this leg, as Danny Rose is a doubt after suffering shin laceration in Sunday’s win over Leicester.

Eric Dier (illness) and Erik Lamela (back) are both fully fit and expected to feature here.

Harry Kane (ankle), Ben Davies (groin) and Dele Alli (hamstring) are the North Londoners’ only absentees.

Borussia Dortmund are without captain, Marco Reus who is sidelined with a thigh injury.

Lukasz Piszczek (heel), Jlian Weigl (illness) and Paco Alcacer (shoulder are also ruled out for the Bundesliga side.

Prediction

I am expecting a tough test of Tottenham here because although they have coped without Kane, Dortmund will really expose the absent quality up front if are at their best.

Ultimately, Spurs should edge this purely on home advantage but will be a tough game.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Borussia Dortmund

Result: Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 Borussia Dortmund
