Crystal Palace continue their fight for Premier League survival against top-four chasing Liverpool.
Victory will lift Palace out of the relegation zone, whilst Liverpool can go fourth with a win if Chelsea fail to win at Sunderland.
Team News
Palace have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 1-1 draw at home to Hoffenheim in the UEFA Europa League.
Jean-Philippe Mateta is beginning his domestic three-match ban after his red card in a 2-0 loss at Tottenham in their last league outing.
Ismaila Sarr (groin), Chadi Riad (knee) and Takehiro Tomiyasu (calf) remain absent.
Liverpool could again be without Ryan Gravenberch after he missed their 3-2 Champions League defeat at Fenerbahce in midweek, due to a heel injury.
Jeremie Frimpong (muscle), Giovanni Leoni (ACL), Conor Bradley (knee) and Hugo Ekitike (Achilles) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off?
Palace host Liverpool at Selhurst Park on Sunday 7 November at 2pm BST, live on Sky Sports Main Event in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Palace have claimed seven points in three of their last five league meetings against Liverpool (W2, D1, L2).
- Liverpool have lost just one of their last 11 league visits to Palace (W9, D1, L1).
- No Palace player has produced more shots in the top flight this season than Anan Khalaili (11).
- Florian Wirtz has committed more fouls in the league this season than any other Liverpool player, with the German midfielder having made 16 fouls in nine appearances.
Prediction
Having luckily snatched a late draw against Hoffenheim after a fairly wasteful display, Palace need to be seriously more clinical if they’re to get anything here given their poor form but they first must be more defensively solid early on than they were on Thursday evening.
Liverpool meanwhile are coming into this game off the back of two consecutive defeats in all competitions for all of their valiant attacking effort, as their defensive errors have been costly against Arsenal then Fenerbahce so they just need to cut out the errors here.
Although Palace will put up a tough fight, I just think that Liverpool are going to be too strong if can keep it tight defensively.
Prediction: Palace 1-2 Liverpool
Result: Palace 1-3 Liverpool
