Liverpool host Arsenal in a blockbuster Premier League encounter in the title race.
Victory will lift Liverpool back up to fourth in the table and to within three points of league leaders – Manchester City, whilst second-placed Arsenal will go top if they avoid defeat.

When is Kick-Off?
Liverpool host Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday 1 November at 4:30pm BST, live on Sky Sports Main Event and Premier League in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Liverpool have won one of their last eight league meetings against Arsenal (W1, D5, L2).
- Arsenal are winless in their last 13 league visits to Liverpool at Anfield (D5, L8).
- Two of Liverpool’s last four league games at home to Arsenal have ended in 2-2 draws.
- Alexander Isak has attempted more shots than any other Liverpool player in the top flight this season, with the Swedish forward having produced 16 shots in seven appearances.
- No Arsenal player has made more blocks in the league this season than Gabriel, with the Brazilian defender having made eight blocks in eight appearances.
Prediction
With one defeat in their last six league games and having scraped past Chelsea on penalties in the cup on Wednesday in a game where both teams were wasteful in open play, Liverpool have to be much sharper now because this is a huge chance to put themselves into the title mix.
Arsenal meanwhile will be keen to put their shock cup exit behind them with several regulars set to return after they were rested at Fleetwood, where their second-string team lacked the quality and creativity to break down the hosts’ stubborn defence.
This clash therefore is a chance for Arsenal to just reset and make a statement of their title intent against a potential title rival, but their record at Anfield in recent seasons is a huge concerns yet there is no better opportunity to stop that hoodoo
I however do think that Liverpool will find a way to grind out a draw in what should be a close battle between two teams with title aspirations.
Prediction: Liverpool 1-1 Arsenal
