Barnet meet Oldham Athletic in a massive clash affecting opposite ends of the Sky Bet League Two table.
Victory would move second-placed Barnet to within one point of league leaders, Salford City who don’t play until Monday (26 October) evening at Walsall.
Team News
Barnet have no fresh injury news after their 3-1 loss to Swindon on Tuesday evening.
Jack Maskell is serving the last of a three-match ban after he was suspended for an off the ball incident in their 3-1 win at Bristol Rovers a fortnight ago.
Oldham have no fresh injury concerns to report after their 3-0 loss at Walsall on Tuesday evening.
Ryan Delaney and Michael Mellon remain absent with hamstring injuries.
When is Kick-Off?
Barnet host Oldham at The Hive on Saturday 24 October at 3pm BST, untelevised live in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Barnet are yet to taste defeat against Oldham in the EFL (W1, D1).
- Oldham lost 3-2 in their only previous EFL visit to Barnet in January 2026 (L1).
- Dean Brennan’s Bees haven’t lost consecutive matches since March 2026 – when they lost 2-0 at Salford then 2-1 at home to Newport County.
- Oldham are winless away from home this season (D1, L4).
Prediction
Unsurprisingly Barnet’s sloppy first-half performances caught up with them against a ruthless Swindon on Tuesday evening, but this is the ideal chance to reset and try to find more quality before half time against a team lacking away form and goals at present.
Oldham meanwhile are underdogs and with no goals in their last three away league games, this isn’t an easy game for them against a wounded home side who will be keen to bounce back from Tuesday night, so they ideally need to tighten up defensively and show more clinical composure.
I however do think that Barnet do still have the confidence and quality to bounce back comfortably here, and maybe with a first clean sheet of the league campaign.
Prediction: Barnet 2-0 Oldham
