York City begin life back in League Two against Bristol Rovers as 2026-27 season fixtures are released.
York were promoted as National League champions on the final day of last season following a blockbuster climax against rivals, Rochdale, and will now begin life back in League Two after a decade away with a home match against Bristol Rovers at 3pm BST on Saturday 15 August.
Rochdale were promoted via the play-offs and will commence their campaign away at Newport who survived relegation on the final day of last season.
Last season’s losing play-off finalist, Salford face a tough start to the season as they visit Barnet who will look to push for promotion this season.
