Bromley host Peterborough in a massive showdown in the race for League One survival.
Victory could lift second-bottom Bromley out of the relegation zone and as high as 18th, whilst Peterborough can too move out of the bottom four and go as high as 16th with a win.
Team News
Bromley have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 4-0 loss against Leicester on Tuesday evening.
Shamal George (muscle), Deon Woodman (unspecified) and Ashley Charles (cruciate) remain absent.
Peterborough will welcome Tom O’Connor back into contention after he missed their last nine matches due to a groin injury.
Matt Garbett (hamstring) and Sam Hughes (Achilles) are doubts but Rio Adebisi is still ruled out with a knee injury.

Stat Attack
- This is Bromley’s first competitive league meeting against Peterborough.
- Peterborough are making their first competitive league visit to Bromley.
- Just three of Bromley’s nine league goals this season have been scored at home (W1, D1, L3).
- Peterborough are winless in their last four league trips to London-based opposition (D2, L2).
Prediction
After a lacklustre display against Leicester with virtually little composure in their end product to really trouble Alex McCarthy, Bromley need to wake up quickly because this is the start of three defining games in a week and more clinical quality is a must on top of tighter defending.
Andy Woodman’s shock departure meanwhile has certainly been a massive shock for supporters but it’s imperative that they park any anger to one side, as the team and Byron Webster need their backing if they’re to get a bounce from Woodman’s exit as harsh as that feels given his success.
I however do sympathise for Webster because whilst he was part of their successful rise in recent seasons, he needs to sort out their defence yet find a way to get their attack firing in a must-win home test, so this is no easy task for him on top of various fitness issues.
Peterborough’s honeymoon period under their new manager, Robbie Savage certainly came to a realistic halt at Huddersfield where they were just outplayed, but they did at least score one goal and they do look more capable of goals compared to the Ravens.
The first goal therefore is imperative and prior to Woodman’s exit I had Peterborough down for a 2-1 win in my initial draft, but the Bromley players surely will be fired up for this match with a point to prove yet the home crowd’s reaction has been of pride and gratitude mixed with anger at the timing.
It’s therefore an incredibly harder game to call than initially but if Bromley can miraculously turn up with an unexpected feisty performance, I can see them winning this especially if the home crowd get behind them positively and create a volatile atmosphere for the Posh.
Prediction: Bromley 2-1 Peterborough
