Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR) have retained Enzo Deligny for the 2027 FIA Formula 3 season.

Deligny’s decision to stay with the team for a second season comes after he finished 16th in his rookie season with a single podium finish, which came in the season-opening Australian Sprint.

The 18-year-old Chinese-Frenchman is excited to continue in F3 with VAR for another season and pushing on to higher success with stability.

“I’m really happy to be continuing with VAR for 2027. After joining the team late this season, I immediately felt very comfortable and we’ve built a strong relationship.

“I’m really looking forward to starting next year together and showing what we can achieve. Having stability by staying with this great team will help me perform next year. I can’t wait.”

VAR Team Principal, Brad Joyce added that the team are “pleased” to retain Deligny and fight for stronger results.

“He made a very strong start to his FIA Formula 3 career in Melbourne, finishing second in the Sprint Race on his debut weekend. He has now gained a full year of experience in the championship, and working with him throughout the season has given us the opportunity to see his talent up close.

“That experience and continuity are important as we look to build on what we started in 2026 and push for stronger results in 2027.”
