F3 have unveiled their race calendar for the 2027 season which sees the additions of three new rounds.

2027 will see F3 make their first visit to North America at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Montreal, Canada in the fourth round of the season.

The campaign will open in Bahrain on weekend of 12-14 March followed by an inaugural trip to Saudi Arabia on weekend of 19-21 March, before the grid jet off to Melbourne, Australia on weekend of 2-4 April in the third round.

F3 however will spend the last six rounds in Europe beginning with a glitzy trip to Monaco on weekend of 3-6 June, which is followed by the iconic visit to Silverstone on weekend of 2-4 July then to Spielberg, Austria a week later from 9-11 July.

All 10 teams will then take a near two-month break before regrouping at Monza, Italy on weekend of 3-5 September, followed by a jaunt to Madrid, Spain from 10-12 September.

The season then concluded with a maiden visit to Turkey on weekend of 1-3 October where the title is expected to be settled.

F3 however won’t go to Barcelona after the round was dropped from the F1 calendar, whilst the traditional trips to Belgium and Hungary have been axed in a surprise move.

F3 CEO, Bruno Michel has welcomed a “groundbreaking” calendar with three new circuits which will pose fresh tests for the grid.

“The 2027 FIA Formula 3 calendar is groundbreaking, with three new venues that represent a formidable challenge for the teams and the drivers.

“It will be very exciting to see the F3 cars at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, and I’m extremely pleased to bring F3 to North America for the very first time thanks to the addition of Montreal to the calendar. Istanbul Park will host the season finale, another new challenge next season.

“Just like for F2, we will be covering freight costs so that the territorial expansion of the calendar does not financially impact our teams.”
