Pep Guardiola has pledged support to Manchester City after the club were found guilty of serious breaches of Premier League financial rules.
City were yesterday (29 September) found guilty of 115 charges in relation to serious breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules covering the 2009-10 to 2017-18 season, under which Guardiola was manager in the last two seasons covered within the timeframe of misconduct.
Guardiola has since pledged support and backing to the club from owner – City Football Group Limited, Chairman – Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Chief Executive Officer – Ferran Soriano and everyone else at City.

Guardiola eventually stood down this summer and was succeeded by Enzo Maresca who has guided City to the summit of this season’s Premier League after five matches.
